Q, they are sure high beta plays. But i don't have THAT much conviction on those 2 names....
I think they both get a nice POP higher here over the next couple days, along w/ the broad market.....but they to me are risky...and both are names that i prefer look for entries to go SHORT...not long. (just have had more sucess w/ that direction on the both of them, so perhaps im directionally bias)...i sure as hell would not short them here at this entry.

so basically i really dont have too much of an opinion of either of them. I mean it's bullish short term, but those specific plays just are not the most "safe"...that's all to me. Then again if the market pops here, i bet those are some of the biggest movers too.

What is your opinion on MGM / LVS now? They were both up hard in after-hours (on relatively good volume I believe) on some MGM news ticker that auditors no longer consider it a "going concern". However the news tickers were not so detailed, and I have a feeling this could be a set up to suck in retail investors one last time. Not a chartist so I am trying hard to figure out if they are on their next leg up or if this is a fakeout.

Im went long 1/2 size from friday too (srs july 20 puts) at 1.80
bought some more today @ .80
(avg 1.30......in full size lot here)

look at his TLT chart from today..

yep i saw that one.....they have been selling this thing for weeks, months even though....its such a leading indicator at times that is so early its wrong! lol.....but yea it can only hold and create divergance for so long till it breaks that way.....

man I hope yre right! LOL Im still stuck from my Friday long positions. I agree that best way to go short is to play this potential bounce.

But on the other hand, if we get a big gap down, it could be off to the races for shorts.

Link Doesn't work? It's a compressed file of flash player. Anyways, I've got that lower line as major major super important too, but I have to wonder if it falls to at least shake people out first. It almost touched today on SPX but not quite. Interesting times. I expect crosses over and under to cause much confusion before it's decided on.
